We raised Jade from a hatchling after he was abandoned in Waco. We set him free in Tennessee after he learned to fly, forge for food, and be a bird. He still would visit us each morning and perch on our heads. When it grew colder, he disappeared, maybe back to Texas. We will always remember him and enjoy the amazing journey we shared.
