The girls learned about Monarch Butterflies and raised this pretty lady from a caterpillar. We fed her milkweed, until she settled in a "J" position and made her cocoon. A couple weeks later she emerged. We enjoyed watching her fly around our home and eat from our flowers until she one day disappeared. We were lucky to see her, as she was a late bloomer, having not hatched until early November. We loved having a Butterfly in the HOUSE!!
